Who I posted earlier under "Dumbass Of The Day", well his family now claims he was "Framed"!.
However, his NaviMumbaibased family firmly believes that Vikram is innocent and that someone has hacked into his net account to post the 'Kill Bush' message on the Yahoo finance board.Talking to TOI, 65-year-old Capt Subbarao said, "Vikram has been studying applied mathematics at the University of Purdue for the last ten years. He is a quiet and docile sort of person and I feel someone has played mischief by posting an anti-American message using his name."
Who is his family's advisor? Rep. Cynthia McKinney?
It gets worse for him, he is being held without bail.
A Federal district magistrate in Hammond has ordered Vikram Buddhi, a Purdue University graduate student accused of writing Internet threats against President Bush, be held without bond, saying he is a flight risk, Buddhi's attorney said this morning.Buddhi is accused of posting inflammatory messages threatening to kill President Bush, first lady Laura Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
Buddhi's attorney John Martin said the magistrate determined Buddhi is not dangerous, but might flee the United States since he is not a U.S. citizen. Buddhi holds a student visa and is studying for his master's degree in industrial engineering on the West Lafayette campus.
